We are a human rights organization that supports civil society members who face persecution due to their work. We prioritize the dignified reintegration of Ukrainians who survived Russian captivity for civic engagement.
Civis Fortis translates from Latin as “strong citizen”.
We believe that the strength of civil society lies in people who are not afraid to act, to disagree, to speak the truth, and to support one another. Our foundation was created to protect, empower, and sustain that strength.
